Here at BLUMEN FASHION, we go through a pretty rigorous process when selecting our new floral ties. We collect samples of the fabric, we select the ideal dimensions and ultimately choose the perfect floral pattern. I might add that there is some debating involved when it comes to which patterns and material are good enough to attach our brand to it. After all, we do this for you, our customers.
Anyway, one night we were staying up late going through some samples trying to select our newest patterns. As we are going through the samples, I see a little orange/yellow corner underneath the rest. I then pick it up and am immediately astonished by its beauty. As soon as I pick it up, my business partner, Nathan says “Yuck! We can defiantly pass on that one!” And there I was thinking to myself that there is no way we're passing on this one.
Now let me give you a little background on myself and what some would deem outdated tastes. I am 23 years old but I have pretty old taste in things. I am the kind of person who loves wandering into antique shops and picking out some of the most beautiful pieces. My wife would often look at me judgingly and say “There is no way that’s making into our house.” But, she loves me so much she occasionally allows me to indulge my outdated tastes. For instance, here is a picture of my wife’s and I’s tea Kettle. A wonderful 1970’s mustard yellow. Absolutely stunning!
I know I am not the only one out there who has unique tastes. So, I replied to Nathan saying “There is no way we are not getting this! Look at it! I love it so I am assuming there is at least one other person in this world will love it and I feel obligated to help him/her.” After some back and forth debating, I came out the victor. We would stock this tie!
Since then I have used every excuse to wear that tie! After all, I love the compliments I receive when wearing one of our ties. I’ve worn it countless times and it still looks and feels amazing! I encourage you, that if you have the same awkward and quirky tastes as I do, you should get this tie. You won’t regret it!
